American Heart Association Offers New Institutional Research Enhancement Award-Deadline February 14

The American Heart Association is offering a new research award that supports small-scale research projects related to cardiovascular diseases and stroke at educational institutions that provide baccalaureate or advanced degrees, but have not been major recipients of NIH support.  The award supports any part of the full range of research and development from very basic to clinical.

This is a two-year award of $77,000 per year.  The goals of the program are to: support meritorious research, expose students to research, and strengthen the research environment of the institution.

Applications are due by Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at 5 p.m. CST.  Awards available July 1, 2017.
