The summer issue of Williams Magazine discusses Susan Engel’s new books on educating children. Engel is a senior lecturer in psychology and the Class of 1959 Director of the Program in Teaching at Williams. Her research is supported by the Spencer Foundation, a private foundation that funds investigations into how to improve education around the world.
